The rate is locked at the referral.
A referral rate is only worth as much as the place it is written down. Here it is written on the relationship itself, the day the referral is booked – the same principle as the commission frozen on a click, and for the same reason: a number that can be changed afterwards is not a number you can count on.
The mechanics
How a referral is booked.
You get a personal referral link. When someone clicks it, the click is logged – but only country and device. Nothing is stored that points to the person, and the lead is not a contact you have bought access to.
At the same time, a cookie is set that lasts for 45 days. If the person creates an account within the window, the relationship is written: who referred whom, when, and at what rate. The rate is determined by how many you have already referred, and it is frozen in the same write.
From then on there is nothing more to keep track of. The bonus is triggered automatically every time the referred affiliate earns commission, and lands in your balance alongside your own sales.

The rates
Eight, ten or twelve per cent.
You earn a percentage of the referred affiliate’s commission. The percentage depends on how many you have already referred when the next one comes in.

The first five referrals. Everyone starts here – there is no application and no tier to unlock first.

Numbers 6 to 15. The tier applies to the referrals who come in after you have passed five.
12%
Number 16 onwards. The highest tier, and here too the rate is locked on each individual relationship.

Push the number past five: the new ones come in at 10%, while the first five stay at 8%. The rate follows the relationship, not your current status – and it cannot be lowered afterwards.

If no. 6 earns DKK 1,000 in commission within the window, 10% of it is DKK 100 in bonus to you – and no. 6 keeps all DKK 1,000.
A calculation with an example amount · not a promise of earnings
The rate follows the relationship, not your current status. If you reach 10% with your sixth referral, the first five keep giving 8% – and conversely, no rate can be lowered afterwards. It is the same trade-off as the rate lock on a click: you do not get a number that suddenly rises, but you get a number that never falls.
The maths
The bonus is paid by us.
The referred affiliate keeps their full commission. No percentage is taken from their side to pay your bonus, and the store does not pay more either. The bonus is our cost.
It is not just a kindness – it is also why the numbers stay clean. The bonus is booked in its own ledger, not as a conversion. The store’s sales statistics show the store’s reality, and the referred affiliate’s earnings are exactly what they have earned themselves.
There is one tier and only one – where a two-tier program also pays for the referrals’ referrals, ours stops at the first link: you earn from the people you refer yourself, not from theirs in turn. And you cannot refer yourself; that is rejected.
Fairness
The bonus follows the fate of the sale.
The bonus is created as pending together with the sale that triggered it, and mirrors its status all the way. If the store rejects the sale, the bonus is rejected with it. A sale that never came to anything does not leave behind a bonus that has to be paid.
There is also a lower limit in the mechanics: if the referred affiliate triggers a conversion without commission – a lead worth zero kroner, for example – no bonus arises. Zero per cent of zero is not an entry worth booking.
After 12 months the relationship expires. The referred affiliate keeps earning for themselves, and you no longer earn from them. The list in the dashboard shows active or expired per person, so it is never a surprise.
The overview
A leaderboard without names.
You can see your own position among the active referrers and how many there are in total. Never other people’s names, never other people’s numbers. The competitive element is welcome – it just must not cost anyone their privacy.

The number of accounts created via your link, and which rate each individual relationship was locked to.

Bonus that has been approved, and bonus still waiting for the source sale to be settled.

Clicks on the referral link and the conversion rate from click to created account – so you can see whether it pays off.

Sign-up date, rate, active or expired, and what they have earned for you so far.
The bonus is part of the same calculated balance as your own sales – and the balance is calculated from data, not from a column that can get out of sync. If you want to know what a network should be judged on at all, settlement is one of the six questions.

- Does it cost anything for the person I refer?
- No. The referral bonus is paid by us – the referred affiliate keeps their full commission. Not a penny is taken from their side, and the store does not pay extra either. The bonus is booked in its own ledger, not as a conversion.
- What if they create the account 40 days after they clicked?
- Then it still counts. The referral link sets a cookie that lasts for 45 days. The referral itself is only booked when the person actually creates an account – and that is the moment the bonus rate is locked.
- Can my rate be lowered later?
- No. The rate is frozen on the relationship the day the referral is booked, exactly as the commission is frozen on a click. On the other hand, a higher rate you unlock later only applies to the next people you refer – the earlier ones keep their original rate.
- Do I earn from the people my referrals refer?
- No. There is one tier. You earn from the commission of the people you have referred yourself, for 12 months from the referral – not from their referrals in turn.
