Payouts

Automatic payout on the first banking day of the month from DKK 100 – bank details, personal details, self-billing, VAT and what happens with refunds.

View as Markdown

Approved commission is paid out automatically on the first banking day of the month once you have at least DKK 100 available and your details are in place. You can also press Udbetal nu (Pay out now) yourself. Everything happens under Konto → Udbetaling (Account → Payout). Tax and VAT on commission are covered in the article affiliate income, tax and VAT in Denmark.

The affiliate dashboard is in Danish; labels are given as they appear on screen, with an English translation.

How it works

  • Automatic: on the first banking day of the month. Weekends and Danish bank holidays are skipped – for example, the payout day in November 2026 is Monday 2 November.
  • Minimum: DKK 100 available. This applies to both the automatic payout and Udbetal nu.
  • Pay out now: you can request a payout whenever the minimum and your details are in place.
  • Pause: you can pause the automatic payout and use Udbetal nu when you want the money.

The amount is calculated by the server from your balance. You get a notification in the dashboard when the payout is on its way, and every payout gets a self-billing invoice. Affilyflow makes the transfer to the bank account you have provided.

What needs to be in place

The Udbetaling page shows a checklist of what is missing. The items you can sort out yourself:

MissingWhat you do
Bank detailsEnter a Danish sort code (reg.nr.) and account number – or an IBAN.
Personal details (Stamdata)Fill in type, name, address and country under Stamdata.
Your CPR numberRequired for Danish private individuals and sole proprietorships without VAT registration.
Your tax id (TIN)Required for private individuals and businesses in another EU country.
Your date of birthRequired for private individuals in another EU country.
The self-billing agreementRead and accept it under Stamdata.

Other items resolve on their own: 48 hours after a change of bank account, the check of your VAT number and a payout that is already under way.

Bank details

With a Danish account, you enter the sort code (reg.nr.) and account number – the dashboard builds the IBAN for you. You can also enter an IBAN directly. A Danish IBAN is DK followed by 16 digits.

Personal details

Under Udbetaling → Stamdata (Payout → Personal details) you choose what you are:

  • Danish private individual
  • Danish business
  • foreign private individual
  • foreign business

Your personal details and the agreement can be saved without a CPR number. The CPR number is only needed before a payout can be made. CPR and TIN numbers are stored encrypted.

Payouts to Danish private individuals are reported to the Danish Tax Agency (eIndkomst). Under Årsoversigt (Annual statement) you find an overview of the year for your tax return.

Self-billing agreement

Affilyflow buys your marketing service and issues the invoice for you. That is why you must accept the self-billing agreement before the first payout.

  • Every payout gets a self-billing invoice with a sequential number, e.g. SF-2026-0012.
  • The invoice can be opened from the payout. If something in it is wrong, you can object directly on the invoice within 14 days.

VAT

You areVAT on the payout
A Danish VAT-registered business with a VAT number confirmed in the EU VAT register (VIES)25% VAT is added on top of the payout.
A business in another EU countryReverse charge – no VAT on the payout.
Everyone else – including a VAT number that cannot be confirmedNo VAT.

VAT is only added when the number is confirmed in VIES – not just because you ticked "VAT-registered". Once you have earned DKK 40,000 in a year without VAT registration, the dashboard shows a message about the VAT threshold.

The balance

TermWhat it means
Til rådighed (Available)Approved commission that has not been paid out. This is what can be paid out.
Afventer (Pending)Commission from sales that are not yet approved. Approved after the program's approval period.
Undervejs (In progress)Payouts that have been created but not completed.
Udbetalt (Paid out)What has been transferred to you.
  • Only approved commission can be paid out.
  • The balance is always excluding VAT.
  • Balance and payouts are in Danish kroner (DKK). Sales in other currencies are converted at an ECB rate that is locked on the sale.
  • The balance can become negative if a sale is refunded after the commission has been paid out. See Refunds after payout.

Payout status

StatusWhat it means
Afventer (Pending)The payout has been created and is waiting for the transfer.
Gennemført (Completed)The amount has been transferred, and the self-billing invoice has been issued.
Tilbageholdt (On hold)With a specific suspicion of fraud, we can hold a payout for up to 60 days – with a stated reason.
Annulleret (Cancelled) or Afvist (Rejected)The payout was not completed. The amount is back on your balance.

Refunds after payout

If a sale is refunded after the commission has been paid out:

  • Approved no more than 90 days ago: the commission is offset against your next payout. The balance can be negative in the meantime.
  • Approved more than 90 days ago: a refund reported by the store's integration does not reduce the commission you have been paid. Affilyflow bears the difference.

A partial refund reduces a percentage commission in the same proportion. A fixed commission per sale is not changed by a partial refund – only if the whole order is refunded.

See it through the API or an AI assistant

The get_balance and list_payouts tools show your balance, the next payout day, what is missing and your payouts with invoice numbers. They are read-only – they cannot request a payout, and they never show bank, CPR, tax or address details. See REST API and MCP server.
